The onions are planted and have survived a few hard freezes. The deer broke the hot wire fence around the garden and pulled out one of the onions then dropped it back on the ground. I'm not sure if that's some kind of omen or he just didn't like onions. Seems like neither weather nor deer will be a threat . Thank goodness, I'm not sure how many onions we have to spare:)

So, the deer don't like onions, huh? Sounds like a great thing to plant then. Those must be very tenatious deer to get through the hot fence!

You all don't just have a garden, it is a mega garden. It isn't as big as a farm though. Half way inbetween would be a garm or a farden. Whatever you call it, it sounds like a lot of work. I admire you all for it.
